Many people aren’t too sure as to what a Naming Ceremony entails; whether it has to be religious, do you have to have God/Naming parents and most importantly their role, and the real purpose of having a ceremony?

Naming Ceremonies is an opportunity to welcome your child into your world in a way of a celebration with your family and friends, to formally name your child and the opportunity together to share your hopes and dreams with your child.

Whilst your baby is the focus of the ceremony, there are many people who help to shape their view of the world and this is where I love to incorporate them into the ceremony also.

In a naming ceremony you wish to incorporate any personal, spiritual or cultural beliefs, of which I am very happy to work with you on this.

No matter what time in your child’s life you wish to have a ceremony, I would love the chance to chat with you to discuss some lovely ideas to include into your ceremony.
